Description: This is a hand raised sterling silver vessel, commonly known as a sauce boat. It is made in the traditional way with a hammer and stake (anvil) and then finished by fabrication and welding. I made this piece in 2005, and it is a one of a kind piece that is signed and dated and marked sterling. The black pieces near the handle are natural Tahitian pearls.
